Exit Strategy

God created the universe without blemish, contamination or corruption. Man brought that brokenness when they chose rebellion over obedience. But in His mercy God said when you sin you will surely die. It sounds harsh but that was God's exit strategy all the time.

Once this universe became broken and contaminated by sin, He didn't want us to suffer eternally so He established death as our exit strategy. Eternity now remains in His hands, in an incorruptible new creation.

How do we get there?

That includes God's second exit strategy, death. But not our death, the death of His one and only Son, our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. On the cross on which he suffered, God applied all the finite sins mankind could every do. He was able to carry because He is infinite and He conquered death by becoming the sacrifice required for our rebellion.

Today, thank Jesus for His accomplishment in paying for our debt and providing our exit strategy from contamination, corruption and abandonment into a place of love, joy, satisfaction, eternally. For I am not ashamed of the Gospel of Jesus Christ for it is the power of God for salvation to everyone how believes. Romans 1:16

The Purpose of Man

Why are you here?

It's simple, joyful and freeing.

You're here to give glory to God. Not to change the world, not to find food for the day so you can live, not to save a friend. The foundation of your life's purpose is to give glory to God. All other activities are added on top of this foundation.

'Seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness and all these things (clothes, food and shelter) will be added to you as well.' Matt 6:33
